How to Record Your iPhone or iPad Screen For Free Without Jailbreak (iOS 10,9) Using Windows Computer

There is many reasons why you wanna record your screen on your iPhone or iPad device. You might be a gamer who want to record your favorite game then upload it to YouTube, or you might be a I.T Professional who wants to make a video presentation or tutorial without using a camera. Whatever reasons you have this tutorial will show teach you how to record screen on your iPhone or iPad Device.

Get started

To do the screen record, you need these items:

1. iPhone 4s or later with AirPlay Mirroring.
2. PC with wireless LAN card
3. Apowersoft iOS Recorder Software

Instruction

1. Download and Install Apowersoft Phone Manager. You can download it here.
2. Open Apowersoft Phone Manager. The Application will look like this.

3. Connect now your iPhone/iPad to your windows computer using your iPhone/iPad cable. iTunes will open, just close it. 
4. Click the iOS Recorder to Install.

5. One the iOS recorder installation finished, A windows will pop up on how you will mirror your iPhone to your Windows Computer.
6. On your iPhone, swipe up from the bottom of your screen to access Control Center and tap “AirPlay” if you are using iOS devices before iOS 10. For iOS 10 users, simply hit “AirPlay Mirroring” from Control Center.

7. Once you’ve enabled AirPlay, you’ll see the available mirroring devices. Then you can tap the icon with your computer name on it and scroll the “Mirroring” option on if you using iOS versions before iOS 10. For iOS 10 users, you can directly hit the item to enable mirroring.

 8. You will now see your iPhone device screen on your Windows PC Screen.

9. Once connected, you can tap the “Start recording” button at the upper left corner on this app to record your operation process. If you want to view your recorded files, you can click the “Open folder” beside the record button to check them out.
